Bill Bozarth, Executive Director, Common Cause of Georgia, discusses the creation of an independent commission to be responsible for redistricting Georgia’s congressional districts and legislative districts. Governor Perdue has pledged his support for such a commission and Rep. Earl Ehrhart has just introduced a bill to make changes in the congressional districts before the 2008 elections.
