Representative Emanuel Jones, (D-10), tells us about his efforts to obtain relief for Genarlow Wilson who was convicted of aggravated sodomy and aggravated child molestation. Is his mandatory sentence of 10 years fair? Was this just oral sex between a 15 and 17 year old? Since his conviction the law has been changed, but that doesn’t help Genarlow. The question is does he deserve a break?
