Shari Adams, Executive Director of Family Connections discusses the prevention of child abuse. Surprisingly, Toombs County is one of the top 10 counties in the State of Georgia for the occurrence of child abuse. In 2005 Toombs County had 159 cases of confirmed child support. Shari explains the relationship between poverty and drug abuse the incidence of child abuse.
