Jim Marshall, is in his second term representing the 3rd District of Georgia in the U. S. House of Representatives. The 3rd District consists of 31 counties in Middle Georgia. He lives in Macon where he served as mayor from 1995 to 1999. Jim serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Agriculture Committee. He is a member of the steering committee of the Rural Health Care Coalition. This interview was taped December 30, 2005, just after Jim returned from a trip to Iraq. He discusses the situation which our troops face in Iraq.
